Choreographer Reggie Wilson of Fist & Heel Performance Group won a prestigious fellowship this week.  Wilson, who participated in our focus group for choreographers for the dance space needs assessment study, won a $50,000 grant for his work from United States Artists, the LA-based advocacy group.

Coming right on top of a successful run at BAM and sensational reviews, we congratulate Reggie on his success.  (And also thank him for the input and advice this October.)

It's not too late to sign up to receive our Dance Space Needs Assessment Survey.  If you're a dance facility or choreographer in NYC, and want your voice heard, go to this link and sign up.  We'll be sending out the surveys very very soon, and sign up will stop once it goes out.  So, if you make dance in New York City - or you provide space for dance in New York City - go to this link and make sure we hear from you.

Dance Space Needs Study

There's still time to sign up for our Dance Space Needs Study.  Funded by the Andrew W. Mellon Foundation, we're looking at space needs for mid-size dance companies in New York City - what's needed, what's available, and what's missing.  If you are a choreographer/dance maker in New York City - or if you operate and maintain a dance rehearsal facility in New York City - we want to hear from you.  We're in the process of finalizing and testing the surveys now.  Go to this link and sign up if you'd like to participate in this important study.  Final surveys will be going out soon!
