The 133rd Street Arts Center is committed to providing low cost rehearsal, performance, and media space, to the city’s arts community. Created by founding Artistic Director of the Horse Trade Theater Group, Russell Dobular, 133AC was built by artists, for artists. 133AC has an entire floor of storage, containing hundreds of costumes, and thousands of props, in addition to flats, platforms, lighting units, fog machines, and set pieces, all available to the artist at a cost far lower than any rental house. 133AC is the only venue of its kind in New York City.
